GS Challenge Rules


3 Categories of trophy

GS Challenge Individual Cup : The participant (owner of a BMW motorcycle 1000cc or more and a canadian citizen) who ends the GS Challenge with the most points within the Double Diamond course

GS Challenge Cup : The team (three participants who each own a BMW motorcycle 1000cc or more) who ends the GS Challenge with the most points in the Double Diamond course

Team trophy for 2nd place in the Double Diamond course : The team (three participants who each own BMW motorcycle 800cc or more) who ends the GS Challenge in 2nd place and with the most points in the Double Diamond course

Team trophy Challenge course :  The team (three participants who each own BMW motorcycle 650cc or more) and ends the GS Challenge with the most points in the Challenge course

Team trophy Panoramic course : The team (three participants who each own BMW motorcycle 650cc or more) who ends the GS Challenge with the most points in the Panoramic course

Main rules of the GS Challenge

Each entrant is responsible for having a motorcycle which is safe and conform to regulations and applicable laws.

Participant should not have taken part actively* in enduro or motocross competition and/or races in the last five years. Any professionnal racer will be excluded from it's category and will not be allowed to be part of the running.

* definition of the word actively : the participant cannot race in the "pro" category and he can't finish in the first five of it's amateur class or category.

Obligation to abide by the following :
- Stop at every check point to fill the card
- Drive at your own pace; time doesn’t count
- If necessary, help teams ahead of you
- Ask permission before passing someone
- Wear a helmet and the appropriate security equipment

 GOAL OF THE EVENT : Camaraderie and team spirit are the key to success in the GS Challenge
